What is an Annual Boiler Service?
An annual boiler service is a comprehensive health check carried out by one of our Gas Safe registered engineers. During the service, we'll inspect your boiler, clean key components where required, check for safe operation, test for gas leaks and carbon monoxide, and ensure your boiler is working as efficiently as possible. Regular servicing can help extend the life of your boiler, improve efficiency, and maintain your manufacturer's warranty where applicable.
How Do I Get A Same Day Visit?
If you report a breakdown before our daily cut-off time and an engineer is available in your area, we'll aim to attend on the same day. Where this isn't possible due to demand, location, weather, or safety considerations, we'll arrange the earliest available appointment, often the next working day. Same Day Call Out is subject to availability.
Is It Really Unlimited Call Outs?
Yes. If you have an active Calhame Care plan, you can request as many call outs as you need for faults covered under your plan, with no limit on the number of visits. Our engineers will diagnose and repair covered issues, including parts and labour where included in your plan. Please refer to your policy terms for any exclusions or conditions.
What Is Full Heating Cover?
Full Heating Cover protects more than just your boiler. It includes the key components of your central heating system, such as radiators, heating pipework, motorised valves, pumps, thermostats, programmer/timers, expansion vessels, and other essential heating controls (subject to your plan terms). If a covered component develops a fault, we'll arrange for one of our engineers to diagnose and repair it, with parts and labour included where covered by your plan.
